Subreports not showing

I have a subreport that will not show on print preview. It is a 'total' query that is counting a number of hospital diagnosis. It is then set to only show top 10. But it will not print out in the report. If I take out the Show top 10 and ask for all it prints ok.

Any ideas as to why when set to Top 10 it will not show?

Is your subreport linked Parent/Child to the main report?

If so, there may not be any records in the limited subreport recordset related to the main report.

The subreport is linked by parent/child and there are definately records in the subreport that show when using 'show all', but when show 10 does not print.

I will have to keep fiddling.
