When I run my report, my subreport is over a page long, therefore the subreport is starting on the second page, instead of under my page heading on the first page.
Have you thought of making the sub-report an on-demand report. This gives a hyperlink feel to the report and does not take up tremendous space on the original report.
There is a check box to make this an on-demand report when inserting it into the report.
shazza: Check that you have Keep Group Together turned off in your subreport. This will then enable part of your subreport to print in the available space on page 1 nad the balance of the subreport on subsequent pages David C. Monks

That could be nice in other cases. My job is to print an invoice so links are out. The one who started this is long gone and now it's my mess to finish. The subreport has the Report Header w/ New Page Before checked and greyed out so I can't change it. There's a recent change in the requirements that might be the straw that breaks the camel's back for this subreport.
Look at the format properties of the subreport object sitting in the design screen. Right click the object, and select format subreport. Take off the checkmark for "keep object together". This will allow a large subreport to split over pages. Ken Hamady
Did you try taking out the "keep object together" checkmark for the subreport object? This will allow the subreport to start on a partial page rather than forcing it to wait for a new page. Ken Hamady
