Hello:

I have a subreport in a group footer in a table and when I set the subreport property to hidden the report prints fine however, when I set the subreport property to visible it appears to overlay a portion of the data in the prior rows and it overlays some of the data in the rows that follow the subreport.

Has anyone come across this situation?

An example of my report with and without the subreport follows:

Don't know if this helps or not, but I had the same sort of problem with a textbox control. What I ended up doing to fix it was to remove the textbox to another area and then put it back. It seemed like SSRS was having trouble determining which control was the main one and which was the sub.

Thanks for responding. I was able to accomplish it by doing the following.

Make sure that the width of the subreport in your main report is greater than or equal to the report width of your subreport as set in Report designer (while editing subreport separately).
