Subnet problem

Our network has many remote sights, two of which are on seperate IP ranges and have routers on a stick allocating IP addresses, they have recently started allocating IP addresses with a 255.0.0.0 mask when they are class c addresses?

help.
 
I dont want to sound rude, but what is your qeustion?

Sorry, My question is why on earth would the subnet mask dynamically change for no reason from a default class c to a class a?
