Hello,
I'm running Windows XP-Pro.
This is my first try at C# programming; and using
Visual C++ 2008. I'm working from a tutorial, that I've found on the net.
I'm given the task of using the command-line compiler,
where I have to set a path from the following directory:
D:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v (version); using the
advanced tab of the System control panel applet: I suspect
the "environmental variable" tab.
I've found both of these locations; however, in the
Windows directory, this is what I have: D:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\
v1.0.3705, v1.1.4322, v2.0.50727, v3.0, v3.5.
Could you advise me which of these versions I have to use?
I must say that I also have Visual C++ 2005 installed, which I tried using to code in Ansi C; but I didn't want to learn Microsoft's proprietary code, and never used it.
Please forgive me if I'm in the wrong forum.
Thank you.
