Main form - click on command button to open another form causes the other form to open in an unexpectedly shrunk down state. Sometimes it is flattened, but the same width, sometimes it is very small and can't be clicked on.
It is an Access database developed in 2002 and now running under 2007 (but not in 2007 database format)
Any ideas?
TIA

First off you need to understand that these are not "subforms." A subform, in Access, is a control that uses a secondary table/query as a Record Source. It usually represents the many side of a one-to-many relationship with the records of the main form.

This is a strange situation! Access is noted for those, especially where corruption is concerned, and the fact that the behavior is not consistent means you have to think about that. Does this strange behavior manifest itself when the second form is opened independently of the first form?

It may help for us to look at the code behind the command button that opens the second form.

The code is a relatively simple DoCmd.OpenForm statement. You mention corruption - it does occasionally 'have to close' and rebuilds the database. Do you know of any good diagnostic/repair tools to fix a 2007 database?
