Subform not showing blank

Hello, using Access 2002 I have a sub form that I would like to show a blank record for data entry if no record exists (no record added if no data entered).
I have looked at the obvious Data Entry = yes, Allow Additions = yes, ...
I have a different parent form which uses a sub form based off of this one using a different child/master link that works fine.
Hope this makes sense and someone can point me to a solution.

The problem was that the linked table did not have a "key".
Works now.
