Subform loads before form? 1

I would like to pass a variable that I set in my forms 'Load' sub and pass it to my subform to condition fields in the subform. During debug the 'Load' sub in my subform executed before the'Load' sub in my form and the variable didn't get passed. Any thoughts?

In the form_load event or form_current event of the parent form, requery the subform with the variable from the parent form.
