Subform in Access 2000 freezes win2K

I have a shared database with tabbed pages, one of the pages contains a subform which for some reason locks the whole database when clicked on. Any ideas?

P.S. It has only happened since upgrading a machine from win98 to Win2K.

What is in the sub? Are there VBA modules you run on form_current or other events? ...
Are there ActiveX Controls you are using in this subform?

Do you use a newer version of Access? ...
