Sometimes when I switch from Form View to Design View, my subforms don't display. All I see is a white box with the name of the subform in the upper left hand corner. Usually I can switch back to Form view and then back to Design View and they will come back. Or if that doesn't work, close down Access and open it back up. Today, however, nothing works. Any suggestions on how to get these to display again?

TIA!

Everyone experiences this at one time or another. I can't tell you why it happens ... I only know I can tell you to [blue]close then reopen the mainform![/blue]

Good morning!

Thanks for getting back to me! Normally that is one of the things I try but yesterday, nothing seemed to work which is why I submitted this post. Eventually they did come back and I don't know why. They just appeared. Access is very weird sometimes.

Have a good day.

Closing & reopening the mainform should do it. If not ... I'd start thinking re-install!

BTW: what version?

Hi TheAceMan1,

I hope you had a good week. I was on vacation! It did finally straighten itself out. But it happen again this morning straightaway. I had it set to open in Overlapping Windows (in the Access Options). I changed it to Tabbed Documents, closed the database and re-opened it. It works fine now. (although it might have opened fine anyway, who knows). I am working in Access 2007.
