I have a two or three subforms within my main forms, and i want them to look as good as the main form. I have got the background to my main form as my company's standard background, but hen i go to one of the pages that has a subform on it, and it has grey old table as the subform. Yet, i can go to the subform itself and into design view and change it there, but it doesnt come out that way in the main form? Why is this? And how can i change it without having to degin it all over again?

Thank you for your help already.

Before anyone responds to the above message - just to let you know that the subform come up in the main form in datasheet view. Is this correct? And how can i change it or even change the colours of the datasheet view?

Thank you for your help already.

Yes, you can change the datasheet format. Open the subform normally (not design view). Go to the menu bar and choose Format>Datasheet. It'll give you a bunch of different options you can play with (these options can also be applied to queries and tables). Then return to Format and select Font. You can change the font in the datasheet as well. X-) Linda Adams (Garridon@aol.com)

I am following your instructions and opening it normally and not in design view, but when i click on format, it only gives me options to change font, cell, heights, hide/unhide, and freeze/unfreeze. Is this because it is in 97 version? Or do i have to back track a few steps? Thank you for your help already.

Managed to change that ok. Looking good.

Is there any way i can adjust the subform so that the all the data will fit intot he screen? maybe make it look like a small form as apposed to a datasheet view?

And is it possible to to a 'best fit' option to the height aswell as the width of the cells?

Thank you for your help already.
