Hi,
I want to develop a master-child report ( main - sub report) both using a stored procedure each. The parameter
values specified for the main report in turn need to be passed to the sub report as parameters for its execution.

Is it possible that the parameters for the main report be passed as the parameters to the sub report too?

Thanks in Advance,
Arun.

Hi,

I think it should be possible.

I tried Drill Thru from StoredProc report to Stored Proc report & it was working.

Prasad.

Thanks.

But how did you pass the value from the main report to the parameter of the second report in your case ? ie how did you link column in the main report to a parameter in the second report ? ( both using stored procedures )

( I am also from CTS :))

Arun,

If the column name and datatype are exactly same in both the reports, it is possible to drill thru & it was working fime for me.
