If I am trying to set up an NT server on a normal PC do I need a NTboot disk or will a win98 one do fine to format the PC?

bootable winnt compact disk will do for u. u can format ur hard disk with that cd.

You can format the disk using a Win98 disk if you want, but when you start the NT setup, you pick the partition and then get the opportunity to format it anyway.
 
Thanks I have now managed to install it after searching though 50000000 Network card drivers!!!
