I know this is a really stupid question but can't seem to remember how.....
I'm using word to key in multiple documents and i want to key in dates using the keypad but need the date format to display "02 september 2003" as opposed to "02/09/03"

question is how.......

thanks in advance, andy

Why not go to Insert->Date and time... and then select the date (with format) from the list?

;-)

Peace! [peace]

Never say Never!!!
Nothing is impossible!!!

sorry - didn't explain very well...

need to insert multiple dates not just today's,
eg>

L.A. - 05/09/03 16.30 HRS (L.A. 5TH SEPTEMBER 2003)4.30PM
N.Y. - 07/09/03 21.00 HRS (N.Y. 7TH SEPTEMBER 2003)9PM
DETROIT - 10/09/03 10.00HRS (DETROIT 10TH SEPTEMBER 2003)10AM

AS IN TIME/ DATE SCHEDULES

YOu can change the default for this project and then change it back when you are done.

Go to Insert > Date and Time, select the format you want and at the bottom of that window, click the DEFAULT button, this will change it to the format you selected.

You can then repeat the process if/when you need to, to switch it to another format.

Hope this helps...
