Stupid line question

I'm not real familiar with these things, for some reason the Option 81 is easier to me but I promised someone I'd help them out.

They have a CICS with 2 lines- the problem is that the lines will ring on the two line keys but if you were to select one of the two lines to make an outbound call it comes back with not equipped; dialing 9 does not work either.

This is probably very simple and a very foolish question, but I have no idea. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you ID the button by pressing Feature *0, what does it say for the line button? Maybe the lines are programed to ring only. If that is the case you would have to go into programing and change it to Appear and Ring for each line.
