i was asked to take a look at some pc's after a i.t. guy left to make sure they are ok..well they werent.. so we ran out and purchased legal copys of win xp pro for his boxes, now what? is just having the legal copys and putting the sticker on the box good enough now or is there more to this? thank you in advance for any help in this matter.

How do you know the copies on the PC's arn't legal?

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.


 
Microsfot gunine advantage may tell you if they aren't legal. But in my case it's not that they were legal just bad mamagement by my predessor.


He had used the same licence key on say 2 machines even though he had purchased a licnece for the second machine and stuck it to the PC
