I have Studio MX 2004 and just got Studio 8. I also already have Contribute 3 and FlashPaper 2. This is a Dell Latitude D810 laptop with 1 gb RAM and plenty of hd space.

I do not want to wipe out my connections for demos that are already set up on Contribute.

I also want to keep Studio MX 2004 intact since I need it for training purposes.

Should I install Studio 8 to a new directory and just install the Dreamweaver and Fireworks components?

Anyone else do this with success? I need to retain the previous version or I would just release the key and uninstall it. I could also call Macromedia for advice but figured I'd ask y'all here first.

Thanks in advance!

I have Studio MX 2004 and Studio 8 installed on my computer. They are in separate folders. I've had no problems using either one though I do prefer 8.

I don't want (or need to) install Contribute or Flashpaper again. Will that work ok?
