stuck backup job...

I have a job stuck in the job queue with the status of active. I tried to stop it but it say can't stop an active job. I rebooted the server and stopped all of the services and get the same message. Is there a way to stop this job manually? By the way, it isn't backing up anything to the drive.

the easiest and best way to stop it to:
1-stop job engine
2-from Job Staus check the job id number for the job which you are facing problem with.

3-go to the home directory of arcserve and find the folder 00000001.QSD

4-go inside the folder and find the same job id for the job which has the problem and delete it

5-recreate your job again and resechdule your job again.
