Folks:

I'm trying to design a report that has two paystub information sections in addition to the check. The layout is to have check printed at the bottom of the page and the stub information in two sections on the top of the page.

The issue is that stub information contains a list on invoices, invoice records, for the month. A check is issued at the end of the month on the sum of invoices issued. The stub sections are duplicates of each other.

I'm able to reproduce one stub section and the check on the report, but I'm having difficulty creating the duplicate stub section.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
SWG.

right click to the right of the section containing the stub info. choose 'insert section below' this will create sections a and b with the same grouping. Highlight everthing in section a (the section that was already there) and hit Ctrl-c to copy, right click in section b(the new section) and choose paste. This should give you 2 sections that are exactly the same. Ruairi

Could your manufacturing facility benefit from real time process monitoring? Would you like your employees to be able to see up to the minute goal and actual production?

Thanks Ruairi:

I also wish to repeat the header information for each stub section as well.

Also there are totals when all invoices have been printed. They would also need to shown on both stubs.

Another factor is that in come cases the invoices may not fit in one section. They may have to continue on the next page.

How would you alter your above solution?

Thanks.

it sounded like you were printing directly to physical checks and check stubs. Is that not the case? if you are, how can a stub span multiple pages? Ruairi

Hi Ruairi:

My layout has the check in the Page Footer section.

The first stub section is grouped by company. The Group Header is suppressed. I have a Page Header which contains the column names. There is a Detail section listing the invoices. The Group Footer contains the totals.

Now I need to create a second instance of the stub section for the top of the page.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
