Is there any way to customize the email that voicemail pro sends out for voicemails.

We have our PRI append 9 so people can dial back call logs from phone. This works good.. buttttt....

We have all voicemails sent to emails which people usually check on their phones.

We would like for them to be able to just click on the number, but it has a 9 in front and fails because you don't dial 9 from a cell.

Although the content can be altered it reverts after an upgrade. But the content that can be altered doesn't include the caller ID and pre-fix part AFAIK ....so you're stuck :)

Hmm. maybe there is a work around that lets me take off the 9 append on PRI?

Is there a way I can make it where if 7 digits are entered really fast (through call logs on phone) it will somehow go through PRI without dialing the 9 ?

That way the emails won't have 9 because I took off the append 9 on PRI.

You can try... if you do a 2XXXXXX - Dial - . - Line gp whatever system shortcode users dialling 203 will go to the extn 203 where as a redial/call log will en bloc dial to 203456 for example....I think :)

I wonder if

CODE XXXXXXXXXX
Feature Dial
Telephone Number "."
Line group 0

Would work?

No, that would match every time a user got to 10 digits, unless you already send calls to ARS by that point... then no worries :)

That seems to work very well. Is their any CONS to using that method? I seem to still be able to dial extensions and everything.

It works very well, added plus is you can dial calls with 10 digits, no need for 9 for outgoing or 1 for long distance, but you do need area code for local calls. (US)
