When one of my users goes to copy out of one document and paste into another, it is pasting it with strikethrough. This is for all documents.
I'm sure this is just a setting I need to adjust, but I'm not sure where.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Too quick on the click....

Go to:
Tools / Otpions... Track Changes Tab

and see if that helps. Also on the Tools menu, is the option for tracking changes.

I've never used it, but it seems like a good starting point.

We did that, tried changing settings, but it keeps doing the same thing.
It might be helpful if I included that we are copying into a New, Blank document. At that point, it is pasting the text in as strikethrough.
I am totally mistified by this.

Could you state what are the exact settings you have in Tools > Options > Trach Changes?

Look in Format > Font and see if Strikethrough is turned on. If it is, do this:

Open Normal.dot
The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
Format > Font
uncheck Strikethrough
OK
File > Save
File > Exit
If it asks you, again, if you want to save, click Yes

dcompto...THANK YOU!
That is what had happened! Somehow it had gotten changed there!

Thanks! That worked!
