Is there a way to feed streamed audio into the 3300 for MOH rather than use the embedded audio file?

Hi Jampet,

Depending what controller type you have, if you check the back of the controller you may have a MOH mono port, this can be used to connect a cd player 0r mp3 player.

Programming of that port will need to be done to enable this port.

New MX controllers come with an Alog card, this will give you a MOH port, however the older MX controller do not and you would need to purchase a ASU.

You should be able to tell from the back of the controller.

not a solution, but it would be a nice feature to be able to stream from an online source, such as a radio station of hosted feed. cut out the hardware.

You might want to check with an intellectual property attorney before using a radio station as your MOH source. In the USA at least radio station broadcast content (the music)is not licensed for "rebroadcast".

That's not to say it isn't being done, but those doing so risk a costly lawsuit from ASCAP/BMI.

No, you may not legally use a radio station as your MOH source.
