I have a movie which is just a horizontally scrolling, wrapped sequence of images. To achieve the wrap, I've put the first three images right at the end of the sequence again, so that when the sequence loops back to the beginning it looks continuous.

The problem is that the last couple of images look "streaked" when the movie reaches the end of the loop. They're just stripes. It's as if the first column of the image has been repeated across its whole width.

What have I done wrong? If you want to see the problem it's at
Thanks

How wide is the mc? Regards,

I recall this would happen when going over +/- 2880 pixels, but at that width?
Have you tried removing one picture or 2? Just to see! Regards,

Check Library of pick in your sorce file. Looks like
the last 2 picks did not import right. 10 goto 10

The last two pics are actually copies of the 2nd and 3rd pics. Given that the 2nd and 3rd are ok, I assume the last two are ok as well.

Oldnewbie, I think I might have misunderstood you before. The movie clip that the pics are in is pretty wide, it could easily be over 3000px, could that cause the problem?

I've taken a couple of pictures out and the scroll looks perfect now. The only problem is that I need to have those pictures in it! :/

Can I create a second movie clip for the second half of the scroll and swap between clips at the intersection? Will that get around the problem?

I can't recall the exact figure, but the breaking point was somewhere around 2880 pixels. Try to reduce your picture sizes, so that tme mc is not more than around 2880, or maybe try to scale down the movie clip. That may work!

I'll try fiddling around. Now that I know the limitations I should be able to work around them. Thanks!
