Hello,
I am having a strange problem with my Dell Latitude CPx H500GT and my Xircom Cardbus Realport 10/100+56K (RBEMG-100).
Basicly this has been going on since I upgraded to Windows 2000 months ago. If I just allow the machine to boot normally, and then I try to enter Stand by....I get the error:
"The device driver for the Xircom Realport (Ethernet Interface)10/100...preventing the machine from going into Stand by...Close programs...blah blah."
If I pull out the Xircom PCMCIA card and push it back in, everything works. Also, from my examination of the properties window, it looks like the IRQs and Resources are exactly the same, but the Stand by works.
I have upgraded the firmware of the card and I have used both the Microsoft and Xircom (newest) drivers to fix this.
Nothing seems to fix the initial boot issue.
Any help apreciated.
