Lately, I've noticed something very strange happening to certain Illustrator files that use effects or filters. When I create a PDF before sending a file to print, anything with a effect or filter has a very thing but noticable white box around it. And unfortunately, the files will print that way as well! I'm just curious if there is a way to get around it because it's very frustrating! Any suggests wouldd be great!
Thank you!

I have, unfortunately the effect still seems to turn up. :(

As a last resort (because some of those pesky effects can really be a pain), you can rasterize at high resolution (so that the whole problem area becomes a raster), but you may want to fiddle with the flattener settings first.

Itchybug,

Well I'll certainly give it a try! Thanks!
