I have a strange problem with profiles on a Win2K server.

The server was origianlly installed with US format format for date; time and keyboard. This has now been changed to UK format. The default has also been changed.

New users pick up the correct format. However, some users with old profiles are stuck with US settings. I have deleted their profiles but this has not helped. When they log back in again somehow they stay with US format.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong ?

Thanks
Damian

Can the time and date format as a Administrator on there local machine and delete them from the local profile.

Thanks for this, but it happens

1. Logging in via Terminal Server
2. Logging in directly into the servers console.

Even although I delete the profile, when it is recreated by the user logging in again, the server keeps the old date format. There must be some kind of cache for old profiles that is kept that I don't know about ?

Does anyone know where this could be ?

Im sure you have already tried this, but just to throw this in.

Have you deleted the US keyboard/Date format, so only the UK one is left?

If aint broken, dont try n fix it!!!!!

I have deleted it already using the administrator account, however, the user still gets US date & Keyboard somehow !

It's driving me crazy

Do you have multiple locations for remote/local profiles? if you delete it from Documents and Settings and then it happens check with-in your users and computers settings, it might be creating multiple copies.

I've fixed it now

It was caused by the default profile.
I deleted the profile and recreated it with a profile that had the correct date format. All new users now get the correct date format.

Thanks to everyone who responded
