Hello All,
I am trying to help a buddy out with a cpu problem and I am kinda stumped. When we try to move a file from his hard disk to the external hard disk, the transfer completes and the file is shown there in the folder on the external. But when you exit the folder on the external drive and then open it back up, the file we transferred is gone. The same thing happens if I create a text document save it then exit out then come back and it's gone. The other thing is, if you try to copy the same file over to the external it gives you the overwrite existing file warning which means it is still in there I guess. Any ideas on what's going on? Windows XP is the OS. Thanks in advance.
Nick
