I have a Magix R4 with some TDL cards An 016 TR card, A DS1 card. We have a few polycoms connected to the 016TR. Often when dialing out on the TR ports we get extra digits & the call will not go through.

With AVAYA I have swoped out the 016TR, The Processor, & moved the card around. Also tryed a 016ETR.

Still happens. FYI all Calls go out on a PRI. I would tell the customer thay need to order some 1MB's & set up a dial 8 or something but will we have the same issue?

The only thing I can think of left to try is change the power.

Let's get really specific about the Layout of this system, and the Modules involved.

There are known issues with 016 Modules and certain 100D modules.

Usually, when configured wrong, the PRI won't come up.

So, let us know what your Modules are, and how they are laid out.

Are the Polycoms in rooms with a lot of hard surfaces? I had a site with a newly remodeled conference room. Big granite table. Block wall on one side, glass wall on another. No carpet.

When you dialed on the Polycom, the echo got picked up by the microphones. I confirmed that by going into monitor, and tracing the extension.

Polycom's tech assistance said, "yeah, that happens. Mute the speakerphone's microphone while dialing"

OR - Just try it with 1 single line set.

I like TTT's idea though, that sounds quite plausible.

I should have put some more info in. I've tested the TTR alot even busied some out. Tested it with my test set in the PBX room same thing.
