strange priting issue

Win XP SP2. This is odd. No matter how many copies I put in the "number of copies" field in the print dialog box, Windows will only print 1 copy. This issues arises no matter which program I'm using. The same printer / driver has been in use for nearly 2 years and this has just started to happen. Any thoughts?

that didn't help, but uninstalling all the printers software and drivers and reinstalling seemed to have fixed it
