strange printer issue need quick response pls

Hi all, got a strange issue here. I have installed a Minolta 2300w printer onto Win2000 server and shared it.
When I install the printer onto win2000 pro pcs it causes word documents to crash.Also when I check event viewer I get event ID 20 saying that the printer driver has updated. Any help would be most appreciated as i have wasted ages on this problem already. Thanks.

I assume you have checked for updated drivers and in the FAQ on minolta's web site? And that you have w2k up to date with SPs, etc.

Yes you assumed right mate. No joy. Plus I have looked on Microsoft support. Really frustrating bug. Thanx anyways.

I have just post a script for printer diagnostic in odd situation in another thread. Maybe you can take a look and run it see what gives?
