Hi all,
I have a really weird problem happening for the moment on my network.
Some of my printers are not accessible thru the network anymore.(no reply from ping)
The other ones work perfect and answer the ping command.I haven't do any major update on the network or anything like that and i dont understand why these devices dont work anymore.Help please, or my users will kill me soon ;)

Are you using switches? If you turn off/on the printer will it work for a while? The switch could be dropping the port if there is no activity for a while. Try putting a hub between the switch and printer.

If I think of anything else I'll post it.

They are on a switch, i tested that one and found out that 2 ports are not working anymore. But it doesnt matter because when i plugg the printer's cable on a working port it doesnt work either.
I restarted the switch, the printer, tested the cable.Everything seems ok.
You also have two status led for each port that stays off when i plugg one of the default printer.Other device, one led stays green (i guess it is the status one) and the other blink when there is traffic going thru.
And to answer you UncleRick, if i turn on/off the printer nothing happens so it's not the port being drop because of no activity.
I really dont know what to do,it's really weird..
