Strange loading in target main frame, please advise

sometimes when i click on the guestbook link on the left with target main frame it loads it under the existing screen instead of fresh over the top as the others do....advise please!!! its doing my head in.
Even if i do a load on blank target, the main text screen is above it.
The left frame stays fine, its almost as if it loads to fast
