Strange Happenings on OE 5.5

W98SE-OE5.5- When I go to the New Message Window and click on the message window it activates the toolbar just above message window. Just noticed that the Create A Hperlink button and the Copy button at top of window activate but then they grey back out and are not active. I can insert a hyperlink through Insert and copy with ctrl c but this is bugging me. Thanks

Are you working in rich text or plain text?
Plain text grays out some possibilities which are included in rich text.

I am using rich text(HTML). I finally got with a person from another forum and we worked it out. Thanks for the input.
