I have done exchange 2000 installation at least 20 time and I never had this problem. The Problem is after I have Installed Windows 2000 applied service pack 3 Installed exchange 2000 applied service pack 3 configuired the exchange to send and recieve email through outlook 2000. Test exchange to send and recieve email O.K. Now after 15 or 20 min the exchange services will stop suddenly I am not sure after how many minutes but It will stop and if I close outlook and restart again it comes up with the message.

" Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable.
You can retry connecting to the server using the network, or
Work offline and connect using dial-up networking.
Network problems are preventing connection to the
Microsoft Exchange Server computer. Contact your system
administrator is this condition persists.

The only way I can restart all the services is by rebooting the server and redialing the modem again.

I have installed everything in a different machine and I am having a same problem. So the Issue is not the Hard Ware.

Thanks In ADvance

I have had a few problems like this, I narrowed it down to a firewall, or anti-virus program. Possibly try a different A-V or Firewall.

But I was browsing on the Net and found that due to Virus issue some ISP have shut down port 135 and port 4444 which is required by the client to connect to exchange for email. This could be the reason as well I have not confirmed yet but will do ASAP.
