Strange Combo box problem

Hi

I have an unbound combo box that resides in a bound form.
The combobox gets its values from a table.

My problem is that the combobox only stores its values every other time it is clicked.

So for example

option 7 selected
combox returns to blank
option 7 selected again
combobox stays on option 7

and again no matter how many times i do this.

Any ideas anyone.
