Strange Characters on Printout

I am printing from a Windows 95, 64Meg (Dell Optiplex G1) system to a HP2000c networked printer (type of printer is not important as this happens on all printers).

The problem is that when printing from a web page any normal button (like the Submit Post button I am going to press once I have finished this) will be printed with foreign characters. I don't know which language it is but the characters stay consistent as a search button is printed out the same on 2 different pages.

The print drivers have been in use for years and no one else has had any problems. Any ideas????

You may not have enough available memory for the print driver to render the graphics correctly. Does this happen with other graphic representations or only buttons?

Only the standard ones you get when writing html etc. I have made some buttons of my own with a button maker for my web site and they print out fine. The other occasion this happens is in excel a certain document (but only that document) will print out with the same characters. When I look at the font it says Dutch.

I can then change the font to arial and it will print out fine but on other machines it says the font is dutch yet they print it out fine no problems. The problem with the spread sheet is an old issue but the internet one has just happened.

It seems it may be font related. Here is an example:

the word: SELECT
is printed as: ÎÛÿÛÚõ
