Hello, friends
Thanks God there's this forum...
I have an Acer Notebook running Windows Vista Home Premium. Everytime I double-click on the Recycle Bin, or Games, or Computer, or Control Panel icons it shows the following error message:

Explorer.exe
Windows cannot find ". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

Important (I guess...): there are three users in the machine; this problem occurs in only one of them!
Any clues?

Thank you very much!

That sounds like a corrupted profile if it only happens to one user.

Type "Fix a corrupted user profile" in the Help Program Search Box for the Vista procedure.

This is the XP article it is only here as a rough guide, it is similar but locations are different in Vista.

811151 - How to Copy User Data to a New User Profile

It wouldn't hurt to check for malware too.

Or to run ChkDsk to check the hard drive. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Select both boxes.

Thank you very much for your help. I created a new profile and copied the files of the old one onto it. No problem.
Thanks a lot!
