This one has me a bit stumped...hopefully someone can help!

I have a BCM50 with 4 copper lines inbound. When I call three of the numbers I get the auto attendant as I should. The fourth I can see hit the system in BCM monitor but the message I get when it connects is "you are not allowed to use this feature...exiting the system. Goodbye" Anyone have any ideas?? System is fully patched R3 .

Thanks in advance....

Does you BCM50 require licenses on a per - trunk basis?

Make sure your system is fully patched before July 1...

Yes...see above it is fully patched as of 5/10. It does require keycodes and I have licenses for 4 analog trunks.

The announcement portion "exiting the system, goodbye" indicates you are making it into the voicemail portion of the system...what happens if you set line 3 to not answer AA and have line 4 to answer AA. See if it has something to do with the number of lines hitting the AA, or just a problem with line 4.

The patching reminder is for any system any of us may have...

Check your fourth line and see if its been assigned to ring at an extn thats forwarded to voicemail.

Make sure its set the same as the other 3.

check DRT to prime against line 4 and see if its the same as lines 1-3

Not sure if this relates, but I just happened to see that exact phrase in the "CallPilot Manager Set Up and Operation Guide" while looking for something else. Apparently if you have mailbox restrictions checked within mailbox properties it will play that message if you try to log into that mailbox externally.

But again, I can't see how that would relate to a trunk hitting auto attendant and then getting the message.
