Strange attachment issue. 1

Hello all,

I have run in to this strange problem. Looking for some help.

User A and User B work in the same office. User A uses Microsoft Outlook. User B uses Outlook Express. Both are on Win 98.

If User A sends an email attachment to User B and me(outsider). I get the attachment just fine. User B gets the email but no trace of the attachment.

Now, if I forward the email that I got from user A to User B she gets the attachment.

So the probelm is that the attachment does not go from user A to user B. Both of them get attachments from others just fine. Attachment from user B to User A reaches just fine.

If you're using Outlook 2002 these are stopped from being delivered by a reg setting of excluded files just delete the ones you don't want to receive:

Navigate to regisitry KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security. Then just copy and paste it into the in
the Level1Remove (Create it if its not there).

Does it depend on the sender?

As I have indicated before. This user gets the same attachment from me but does not get it from user A.

No, those settings do not depend on the sender. You say that you're an 'outsider'. My suspicion would be that there is an 'inside only' mail server that is stripping the attachment.
