Hey, I am getting a very strange alarm that states the following:

Calling IrisNgen 9 Local failed for SYS_QuestionMark because of RETRIES REACHED on 2009/08/26 00:20:11 SEB Notes: A requested Action has Failed A requested Action has Failed

Each time I get this, I check the switch and find nothing wrong. It happens at the end of each midnight routine. Does anyone no what this is? Should I be concerned?

are you running symposium?

Nope, however, we have symposium running on another switch and the two PBX's are linked over IP and a Sig Server.

This looks like an error message generated by an SEB modem trying to call the Iris alarm center.

Does your vendor monitor your system for alarms? If so, have them check the SEB for proper configuration, and the ability to contace the alarm center.

I think that's it. Thanks for the help.
