I have a Storage Node with two NICs installed.
- NW-Server and Storage Node are TRU64
- Client ist WIN2k
- NW 6.1.2

How can I tell the NWServer to use the second StorageNode NIC to backup a Client.
There is no client configuration resource like 'server network interface' for a storage node to choose a NIC.

You need to give the second NIC an own IP with an own name and use that name as storage node name.

e.g.:

NIC1: 192.168.0.1 machine
NIC2: 192.168.1.1 machine-backup

and give your clients machine-backup as storage node

that should work and redirect the traffic to the second nic

Perfect, it works.

I thought the storage node has to have the same name as the remote host, that controlls the autochanger. So i didn't try this.

thanks a lot, jkalbus
