Hi all.

Option 11c
Meridian Mail

When calling voicemail at random times, I get "Cannot record messages at this time" and when I compose a message from "5489" i get "Storage full". Mainly from outside calls.

Call back 5 minutes later and system is fine. call 5 minutes later once again and cannot record a message

Any takers on this one? Thanks as always for your time.

I am at a remote location with no access to the switch.

I wish i could put that thing on an IP.

you can by putting it on a pc and using pc anywhere

John, that switch can run on a Windows OS?

johnpoole hit the easiest solution. Run the pc which is running on the Windows OS, not the PBX or the mail, either directly or through dial up to the Mermail. Install PCAnywhere and either have a second modem or an IP connection. It will be just like you were at the switch.
If you check your class of service in the mail you may find that you have old messages set to delete (never).
Set the old messages for 14 to 30 days depending on your needs. Build a new COS for execs or lawyers that want their messages forever.

10-4..I am going to locate a PC and install the remote software to dial into the switch and then get home dial into the new PC and see if she works. I use VNC so getting to the Win OS pc will be no problem..

Hopefully I understood it right..thanks for your time and help.

found a box with 500 messages. Unreal.

Problem solved

if you'll set up a class for standard users that deletes unread msg's after 10 day and read after 7, that will stop. i also recogmend doing a list of boxes that haven't been accessed in 60 days and removing those as well as the fdn/hunt. that will help with busy channels as well as mem
