Storage center investigator

Hello all,

I have a question about storage center investigator.

What would cause a high insertion rate?

Also the insertion rate doesnt climb for about a month if I were to torch the logger.



Any ideas???

what do u mean torch logger?

is this a 8.9 or perform system?

is inserter\trs installed?

Yes I can....

By torching the logger I mean reboot it.

It is an 8.9 system

Inserter is installed. I am seeing the high rate of insertions in Investigator.

Not sure about trs?

hi,

ok could be a number of things.

heres what i would check.

1. check mapping on logger def tool on cls and ensure it has recent and update extensions listed and they correspond to there extension

2. log into nice monitor and check status of channels and if channels dont show ok then check them out as inserter maybe picking up noise on channels and inserting it as a record

3.is this a financial trading floor system, speaker calls do cause a lot of inserter entries if so and there is no workaround

4. log in into nice query and go to search build inserter query and check times and dates of calls and work back from there
