Stopping Programs on Start up

trying to disable some start up programs in 2k
like in win 98se yu hve a system config.utility for startup running programs..disable or enable..

Other than removing the files from the startup folder in the programs menu, you can remove them from the registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run

.back it up first of course, and don't get your virus scan and stuff, but that should take care of most of your tsr's
