Hi...

Apart from moving a DN to a non DDI range number, is there a way of stopping all External incomming calls to a DN ...?

Thanks in advance

Regards...Martin H

yes

IDC is one way... please supply more info..

what do you want to happen to the calls,, maybe to mail and an announcement,, or to the operator ???

Hi Colin it's me Martin.

Sorry I forgot to mention that there is no entry for the DN in IDC table, but would that alone mean no external calls would get through..??
Customer wants no incomming external, full stop..!
They dont want em going to vmx or anything else.

Cheers....Martin

idc
return

if you have an idc table do a change, the 1st line is the inbound number the second is the number you want it changed to.. intercept the operator,

if it's a new table, go to your inbound did rdb, and answer idc to yes and the next two prompts to your idc table number. that applies the table to that route for both day and night service..

Do you want them to be able to make external calls? If not just use FR2 in the CLS of the phone that will not allow any external calls in or out.
