Stop Music On Hold on parked calls

Is there a way to stop Music On Hold on selected parked calls?

Current configuration: Definity G3R, Release 9.5.

Current need: Keep Music On Hold when 95% of our stations park calls -- stop Music On Hold when the other 5 % park calls.

I have found were on COR you can alter MOH, but this is for "held" calls.

I would like to be able to set MOH on parked calls by COR.

I even tried to set the stations that I wanted silence on parked calls to tenant 2 with music source for tenant 2 set to "none" but I still got source 1 music on a parked call.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

One easy way to restrict your MOH is to change the sets that you do not want to hear MOH to data restriction to "Y". That would be on the second page of that stations form.

Thanks for the info -- I tried this & it works fine for held calls, but not for parked calls.

I need to find a way to return silence on parked calls.

Can you think of anything else that I could try?

After looking around a while, I found an old feature disciptions book, and it does say that when a call is parked, that the data restrictions and data privacy features are automatically deactivated (That kinda sucks). I also looked through the rest of it and i found no other solutions.

Thanks again for your help. I keep hitting the same brick wall as well.

Do you think that tenant partitioning might be an option?

I tried some tests with this but never got real far. I wonder if on a partitioned system ALL parked calls always get music source 1?

To the best of my knowledge your can set up a seperate MOH system using the tenant partitioning or maybie set it to none. Might be your next option.
