Hi Guys!

As you know you can use the Stop Command like this:

STOP/ID=XXXXX (PROCESS ID - PID)

Is there a way to use this command stoping multiple ID's?

Like:

STOP/ID=XXXX,XXXXX,XXXXX,XXXXX

This is because sometimes we have to stop a lot of process of some users and it takes long time one by one.

I hope you can recommend me a good option with your experience.

Thanks

Manuel

meny21,

If the processes are independent processes, the only way to do this in one swoop for an entire user would be to write a program or command file.

If the processes are all related (e.g., they are all the results of SPAWN operations from a single logon session), then deleting the user's primary process (the one that did the SPAWN) will STOP the children in most cases.

Hi guys!

Thanks for your help, I found something else in Excel, I put all my list of process id of users in two columns, then I just copy and paste in my VMS session, automatically do one by one and kill all the users at one time...

Thanks for your valious opinions!
