Hallo,

i have installed a new compaq server with W2k and there is a HP surestore connectes via an adaptec SCSI U3W controller.
When the Surestore is still on and I reboot the server, it stops at the bootprocess scanning the SCSI bus.
What is the problem or the mistake I make?
Could anybody help me?
Thanks a lot in advance.

best regards
thomas

Sounds like a basic SCSI termination problem or cable (bent pin)issue, have you resolved this problem yet? What kind of SCSI terminator are you using? Are there any other SCSI devices on the same SCSI bus?
