Stop a Line from ringing

Is there any way i can delay a line from ringing audibly when a call is placed? i dont mind the line lighting up on the handset, but i do not want it to ring. It is our fax line, and eventhough the ring delay to the fax is set to 0 rings, it still rings once and its just enough time for the receptionist to pick up the phone. i only want to do this on one line (line 9) thanks..
