Stolen Computer, How to transfer Palm Items to new laptop

My computer was stolen but I still have my palm.

I have a treo 650. I want to be able to keep what is on my palm without the computer overwriting it.

How do I do this?

When you get your Palm software installed on the new computer, select the Hot Sync item from the system tray.
Select the CUSTOM... item, which brings up a window for configuring the conduits.

You can change the Action for each application from "Sync" to "Handheld overrides desktop."

Unless you say to make that change permanent, it will happen on the next sync only.
